(b. 26/02/1958, Belgium) Didier Chrispeels, better known as Crisse, published his first work in Curiosity Magazine in 1978. A year later, he created 'Océan's Kings' in Spirou. In Tintin, he drew the series 'Nahomi' with Bom from 1980 to 1987. In addition, he started working in the realistic genre with the series 'Les Ombres du Passée', created in cooperation scenario writer Natacha at Vents d'Ouest. At the same publisher, he began the heroic fantasy series 'l'Épée de Cristal' and 'Lorette et Harpye' with scripts by Jacky Goupil. Crisse illustrated 'Cosmos Milady' with text by Jean-Claude de la Royère at P&T Productions in 1993.Again at Vents d'Ouest, he published his fantasy detective 'Perdita Queen' in 1995. They same year, he was present in Gotham with the gag strip 'Ghost Town'. He joined Soleil Productions in 1996, where started the series 'Kookaburra' and 'Atalante'. As a scenarist, he wrote 'Griffin Dark' for Stanley, 'Petit d'Homme' for Marc N'Guessan, 'Private Ghost' for Serge Carrère, 'Les Ailes du Phaeton' for Serge Fino, and 'Luuna' for Nicolas Kéramidas.
